this letter is gonna be pretty casual on the grammar because it'll make it easier for me to get all my thoughts out. i'll try to keep things relatively brief since gifts are intended to be fairly short and light in execution. however, i may go overboard with details just to express all my feelings, but don't feel obligated to do anything particularly complex, overly involved, or lengthy based on my prompts/ideas/thoughts.

also, sometimes my request-specific ideas/prompts may conflict with what i list in my general dnws. request exceptions override my general dnws (and i tend to be very explicit if im making one), but still, when in doubt, my general dnws are a good baseline.

the great ace attorney (spoilers for tgaa1+2):

• general stuff: i strongly prefer localized names, so rei membami, albert harebrayne, iris wilson, herlock sholmes, etc.; i prefer stuff set within the canon of tgaa rather than setting or time period-divergent aus (ie. modern aus); this would be a great setting for epistolatory fic with letters (especially post-tgaa2).
  
• general tgaa DNWs: no van zieks/sholmes, even as a side ship; general DNWs apply to other potential ships

• blorbo mcgee. i'm just invested in any of his relationships and friendships with others, particularly within his found family, but anything focusing on interactions between him and any other character are welcome. my otp for him is asoryu, but if you want to write/draw something romantically tinged between him and someone else, i would be fine with that. or nothing romantic at all!
  

kazuma

• ugh, what a guy. so many problems. i hc him as a trans man and so it would be nice to receive something aligned with that hc, but it's not necessary to bring it up or even be on the same page about this (in fact, if this feels too difficult or uncomfortable, please don't trouble yourself).
• similar to above, im invested in anything just about him and his interactions with others, whatever direction your inclined towards. something post-tgaa2 would be especially fascinating (that boy is so unwell) and i also hc him moving into the 221b attic space, but also not necessary.

iris

• precious daughter of my heart...my general line of feelings with her is just....friendship and family (there is a pattern to these prompts, hm!), both/either sweet and/or angsty. as an adopted person™ i have a lot of mixed feelings on how tgaa2 handles the topic but im deeply invested in her having people she loves and that love her, old and new. stuff about her and herlock, susato, ryunosuke, barok, yujin (honorary kind of dad), and/or gina is esp welcome.
  

maria

• one of my top favorites who just doesn't get much screentime. with her, i'd like something either about her just meeting new people post-tgaa2 or reflecting on the pain of her mother's deception. she's just so funny but also makes me sad? just an incredible weird girl.

albert/barok

• guys they are so cute, so sweet. i love that albert is put off by barok's persona as the reaper but his faith is unwavering! and barok truly does care about him! in his own convoluted way! also i am just so compelled by the ship dyamic of Smexy™/clown. im interested in stuff about during college before barok's Troubles really began or post-tgaa2 where barok is like....Released from the burden of being the reaper and they get to reforge their bond.
• also barok IS a virgin

genshin/klint

• these guys were fuckin' I KNOW THEY WERE. so to clarify the way i see them, i think klint was genuinely in love his wife (as well as genshin) and he was also cheating on her. same with genshin. Life Is Complicated and 19th century men can be real cads sometimes.
• anyway these guys tap in some deep Likes of mine which are 1) gay tragedy 2) murder love. so i mainly want angst and tragedy, even while they're both alive before the duel. but depictions of the duel itself would be good too.
  

yujin/herlock:

• PARTNERS. gosh i just love them. important thing to note here is that i hc herlock as asexual. simply a fun lil carryover from previous sh fandom dealings. you don't have to align your gift with this hc but i don't want porn of them or anything where herlock is especially horny. with that out of the way, im up for a lot of things: stuff about their 6 years together, stuff about them in that 10 year gap, stuff about them being romantic sweethearts, relationship conflict and/or angst, stuff about them raising iris together for that chaotic month (?) or so before yujin left, and so on.
• oh, one additional prompt idea I forgot was crossdressing. I'm actually very fond of the idea of both of them dressing as women together (as it would likely be less eyebrow raising for a white woman to be socializing with a japanese woman than a white woman socializing with a japanese man unsupervised in 19th century england). intimacy through dressing up, putting on makeup, sholmes savoring the play of costumes and dressup while mikotoba is kinda of embarrassed but enjoying it. layers of gay gender/multigender drifting hehe. so much potential good shit here!
• i do request re: portrayals of yujin's dead wife that he did love her (and it took some time process her death and grieve, in a way he'll never not feel love for her) but that doesn't mean he can't find love again in sholmes.

yujin & susato

• their relationship fascinates me so much because yujin was kind of a deadbeat dad! the abandonment issues and need to prove herself capable+worthy are RIPE. i'm also kind of obsessed that susato's blorbo was a bestie ("bestie" 😉) of her dad's. anyway this isn't to say i want anything that's about chewing yujin out or whatever, but i think their relationship can be possibly so fraught and Weird while also deeply loving and supportive. but if you wanna focus on either them being sweet or just something angsty, that's fine too.

ace attorney (spoilers for aa1-4):

• general aa stuff: i have never played aa5 or aa6 (and am also actively hostile to them), so I would prefer the content/canon of those games not be incorporated; in addition to the previous point, my preferred characterization for phoenix is building directly from aa4, rather than pivoting to reinstatement; im not interested in porn for this one
  
  • I have quite a few specific gender+sexuality hcs for aa characters, but feel free to ignore them if you don't feel like following them: phoenix as an ace, bi trans man; trucy as a trans girl; apollo as a trans guy; and edgeworth as an ace gay (cis) guy.
    

apollo

• ugh, my other little guy. i love him so much...i'm down for anything mundane about him, whether it's just his daily life, the relationships and friendships he has, or whatever. (i DO love and ship klapollo, i just decided not to request it because im really just more...apollo brains currently. so including them together is fine too. i also like vera/apollo a little bit.) i'd either like something fairly light-hearted but down to earth about his life, or an introspective character study.
  
• side note: i've deliberately ignored the later games and hced his adoptive parents as just a normie, supportive older cishet couple. that's a potential prompt idea but no need to inorporate this if you don't want to.
  

apollo & phoenix & trucy

• UGH I LOVE THEM. FAMILY. similar to above, focus on domestic moments together would be nice. exploration of phoenix telling them the truth about their mother. or just lighter moments at the wright anything agency. or phoenix and apollo attending a trucy performance!
  

phoenix & trucy

• very similar to above. i love their relationship...im down for both just fluff or something more angsty about trucy still missing her bio dad. maybe even something that's just phoenix finally telling her about what happened to him. i'd really want the focus to be trucy's interiority and her being allowed to feel grief, anger, a lot of messy, complex feelings about her fathers. but just silly dad and daughter stuff would be much appreciated too.
  

phoenix/kristoph

• a real fucked up blackrom huh. anyway, sometimes i think about what if they had a drunken makeout post-disbarrment that neither of them ever bring up, haha oopsies. it's not a romance honestly, just kristoph's myserious, psychosexual obsession with ruining phoenix and phoenix being initially taken by but eventually realizing kristoph's deception, but still being drawn to him. with resentment? condescension? pity? since we never got those black psyche-locks dealth with, oh fucking well! make up your own sexy reason for why kristoph is Like That. they're sharp, electric intellectual rivals in a way that's based on mutual respect or fondness but just horrible mind games and manipulation. love that for them.
• would love background phoenix pining for edgeworth in the midst of this. (yes i still love narumitsu here, just didn't feel like requesting it here.)
  

fire emblem warriors: 3 hopes:

• general few3h stuff and DNWs: i hate the ending of azure gleam, esp re: edelgard so i'd like that to be avoided, besides that i'm route neutral (though i've only played all the way through golden wildfire); i also hate the general but aggressive dad apologism, so no lingering on the parent stuff in few3h would be appreciated (unless noted otherwise); i do not like felix, please don't make anything felix-focused; i love any gender for shez (including nb shez) so go with your heart on this.
  

cyril:

• my precious, precious boy! im so sorry they did you dirty in 3 hopes! i'd just like anything about his relationships with others or where people care about him in this timeline! it can still be relatively canon-compliant (such as him being with the blions), but I'd rather not have it be about him dying if approaching this from non-ag routes. this can focus on him with any character (that's not felix), whether building off of 3 houses supports or forging entirely new friendships/connections.
• writing up a shez & cyril support for example would be nice :''^)
• my favorite 3 houses supports for him are ashe, ignatz, seteth, mercedes, and lysithea, so that should give you a good idea of the stuff that appeals to me.
• funny prompt idea is him and alois somehow bonding since they both got Fucked Over in 3 hopes
  

shez

• i looooooooove shez. they're so good! what i would really like is stuff about them and their adoptive mother, whether it's flashbacks to their childhood or exploration of shez reflecting on their mom. however, i'm also good with just anything about the friendships they have with other characters.
• i honestly don't have a strong shez ship besides shez/byleth and shez/arval, so i'd prefer platonic otherwise but romantic undertones are still fine.
  

shez/byleth

• god they're so sexy and cool. what i love is the enemies to allies to lovers flavored with a kind of connection over having similar yet very different uh, Conditions. friendly sparring turning into Makeouts/Sex or being on a mission together leading to Love would be good. an au where arval lives and remains body-sharing besties with shez while shez is falling in love with byleth (who's still body-sharing besties with sothis) would be good.
• im more interested in them getting/being romantically together in the "recruited byleth and jeralt" timelines, but i do think the stuff where byleth fucking hates shez for killing jeralt is also kinda hot too. one or both of dying by each other's hands would be kinda hot.

watanuki

• i'd love anything that treats him with kindness. angst is fine, but i'd love for him to be loved and cherished (romantically or platonically). i've always been so hurt by the ending where he's alienated or forever lost from the people he's loved. if you want to still be canon-compliant though, that's fine but i'd just like moments of care and tenderness for him.
  

doumeki/watanuki

• THEE ship...stuff from above applies to this, but i'd also appreciate canon divergence stuff where they end up together and happy. especially stuff set years down the line where they live in domestic bliss. it can still be somewhat angsty or bittersweet, i actually would prefer stuff that's more down to earth or muted rather than straight-up fluff, but as long as it's ultimately happy, i'm good.

• general cg stuff: this probably won't come up but just to start off, i don't want cc/lelouch or kallen/lelouch, even as a side ship; i hc suzaku as a bi trans guy but this is optional to incorporate; likely less relevant but i hc lelouch as asexual and bi but this is also optional to incorporate. also, just as some context, tho i didnt request it, i do love suzalulu (and suzaeuphy and shirley/lelouch).

nunnally

• i love her so fucking much!! the way she turns from just being an oblivious damsel to protect (at least in lelouch's eyes) to becoming more of her own person who struggles with exercising power ethically. in general the contrast in cg between the fucked up political stakes vs. the sincere love in their interpersonal lives and the messy way they mix and clash together is what i love and applies to her deeply. anyway i would love stuff about her relationships with lelouch and suzaku in particular. (i do love post-r2 suzanunna, but you don't have to do anything with that.)

story of seasons: fomt:

lillia

• i'll be upfront and say that i actually haven't played the sos version of fomt, only hm:mfomt. BUT i always loved lillia, so i couldn't resist requesting her here. basing your gift off of the sos version (in terms of her visual redesign and game content) is totally fine with me as i don't think a lot about her was drastically changed.
• anyway, i think her stuff is so compelling and bittersweet. she has a family who loves and helps her but she's kind of been abandoned by her husband for her sake? i'd love anything about how the family who's present for her loves her, and/or other people in the town who care about her. it could be just sweet or somewhat angsty.
• also i kind of ship lillia/claire (the female farmer) but you don't have to incorporate that.

descending stories:

• i honestly just got so excited at seeing descending stories, i just requested this without thinking. im honestly fine with anything Gay and bittersweet with some doses of comedic opposites. i'd love something with yearning, seemingly one-sided, but never quite consummated even if it's (emotionally) mutually reciprocated.

• I would really like a relatively light tone for this one (a treat I suppose). this prompt intrigued me from a sex comedy perspective and so I'd love something sexy but funny, even if also spooky. maybe a figure is constantly photobombing his prints, maybe the lens is making him see things that are weird, maybe the camera makes him horny. who knows! (this feels like the most applicable to be halloween themed too) obviously this is ripe for being ghost porn which im very in favor of.

governess/tutor hired to mentor young monsters

• it's like a teacher/parent romcom idea...but horror-themed! i love it. i want hijinks and romance, the steady and comedic realization that things are Not Right in this house but that doesn't mean they aren't endeared to the kids and their sexy single parent. this can lead into porn but i'm more excited by the romance angle with some slapstick and comedy of errors humor.

haunted wedding veil

• i just love haunted possessions, esp tied to sentimental value. i think the film corpse bride is not a good movie but i still love the stuff that was centered on someone who's a "tragic romantic" and that's what this evoked for me. the melancholy, the yearning of a life never had, etc. however, if you have different ideas, i would still love to see where this takes you.
